Marcia's Makings' Sewing & Fabric Rooms - 2010

Entering the Sewing Room . . .

Walking into the sewing room . . .

Sewing table . . .

Sewing Table-- Viking 936 in the foreground, "sewing" D1 in the middle and "embroidery D1 in the background.

Computer and 936

I've got a computer in the sewing room for working with embroidery designs
(eventually) but I don't use it for surfing the internet-- I'd rather sew!!

One bookcase . . .

One bookcase-- there are 2-- this one is focused on Quilting books and tools.

"Stash" fabric . . .

This is the "stash" fabric-- the bolsters are for our bedroom.
Brian lowered the cutting table by 3"-- it was really too high to work at comfortably before
lowering and the plastic storage still fits under it.

Planned Quilt Fabrics . . .

When I go to Paducah or other stores shopping, if I buy a fabric line
(several fabrics that are from the same designer and "match" each other),
I'll keep them together and give them a tentative name to work with so
I can keep them separated from the Stash.

Clothing Fabric "Closet"

This shows some of the fabric that's in the Clothing Fabric Closet.
These fabrics are going to be clothes for me
(or someone else, if I decide to be generous) someday!!

Corner to "Blanks" Closet

Looking across the cutting table in to the "Blanks" closet.

Opposite corners . . .

Across cutting table to the exit door.  My quilt frame is behind the manequin.
