Testing . . . 1 . . . 2 . . . 3 . . .

For right now, I'm still playing with formats and other things.  Bear with me while I change things around a bit . . . 'kay?  'Kay!

Yet later that night . . .

Why is it that something will occur to me during the day to "tell you" about and then, by the time I get home, I've completely forgotten about whatever it might be.  I've got a feeling there's a major part of the literary world you're missing out on because you're not getting the full exposure to my creative side . . . and, well, donkeys might fly . . .

Fisherman's Warehouse

Well, now, you see: you can never have too much Berkley's Power Bait or knot glue or snap-swivels . . . or so that was my excuse.  I went over to Fisherman's Warehouse tonight-- Yes, I made a point of getting a business card!!  Okay, get out your Crayola crayons and Big Chief Notepads, boys and girls:

Fisherman's Warehouse (on the sign)
Delta Bait & Tackle (on the card)
1140 DeAnza Boulevard
Cupertino, CA 95129
408/873-0113

On DeAnza Boulevard between Highway 85 and Fallen Leaf-- If you've gone to Bollinger from 85 on DeAnza Boulevard, you've gone WAAAY too far!!!  Turn your butt around!!

When I was there, I saw the same guy that sold me the stuff for our trip-- he recognized me right off and asked how the fishing was on the Stanislaus River.  He got so excited when I told him about the fight from these fish . . . he mentioned that it was too bad that you couldn't go fishing when it was spawning season, the river would be "so thick with fish! Ah, well . . ."

Nice place to go to swap fish stories-- Definitely Recommended!

Flip-Fone

Okay, so Brian's new cell phone (the one that he complained about and was kickin'-n-screamin' into getting-- see his Daynote Journal from Tuesday) arrives today.  Within two, count them: 2 hours, I've gotten two phone calls from him on the phone!  Oh, yeah, he was really kickin'-n-screamin'!!

The part that ticks me off about the phone is that its "cooler" than my phone is!!  His is like a ST:TOS communicator-- I want one-- that's "one" said with four syllables, and a southern twang thrown in for good measure!  (BTW, as a translation, ST:TOS is Star Trek, The Original Series.)  I'm going to call them next week to get my very own Flip-Fone, I am!!
