You see, I just got through telling you and Dr. Keyboard that I don't post daily and, here I am again! Oh, well-- what can I say? It is actually not my fault that I'm here again already: Its Brian's fault cuz he said that I had something to tell you over on his site. Yes, the position that I accepted was a contract position that was a "temp-to-hire" deal-- they had the option to wait on hiring me for as long as three months. I, of course, had the option to continue interviewing until I found permanent employment but, frankly, stopped that soon after I began working there. Why, you ask? Simple: I liked this job from the get-go. The people are great, the workload is heavy and the atmosphere is extremely exciting-- my idea of heaven-on-earth, away from my husband that is.
Yes, I went from a "permanent" position to a contract position because I thought it was well-worth the chance that I was taking and besides, it was a better situation all the way around. And, yes, if you look back through my Archive to November 15, I only started three (3) weeks ago . . . well, what can I say? When I was talking with one of my sisters tonight; she reminded me of something my mother always said about me: "Y'know what Mom always said about you?" (Oh, yeah, I told you this part already, huh?) "Yeah, yeah, I know--" but she continued "That Marcia, she always lands on her feet!" Mom always had a way with words . . .
Actually, like I said in my Thanksgiving Day post: I am
truly blessed and thank God every day for those blessings.
