Luckiest Girl!!

Yep, I am-- no doubt about it!  Brian and I have now been married six years today.  I am the luckiest girl in the world-- I've found my soul mate and true love which is not an easy thing to do.

I look forward to our future, ever happier and more in love than the day we married.

Thanks, sweetie-- for putting up with me!!

Thank Heaven its FRIDAY!!!

Do you have any idea how tired I am?  Yeesh!!!  I'm exhausted.  Is 8:46pm and I'm pretty sure that I'm going to bed . . . very soon!

The weekend will be lots of fun stuff like RELAXATION-- I'm sure I can find it again at some point in the next three days!

Sorry so short but, I'm just exhausted-- take care of yourselves and have a good evening!

This is Getting OLD!!!

This has been a horrendous week which will end, thankfully, tomorrow!!!  That will be none too soon for me.

I spent ALL DAY long working on juggling the balls, while I put out fires.  The big call today turned out to be a little anti-climactic since we're not going to try to get the document done by tomorrow.  They only beat me up for a little over 90 minutes today.  Aw, too bad, eh?  Yeah, right!!

One more day and then a three day weekend!!  YEAH!!!

Preparations!!

In an effort to avoid the warehouse store and grocery store over the HOLIDAY weekend, we went tonight.  I finished the laundry while Brian put together a teak glider for me and then, he vacuumed.  Nary a dull moment over here-- we're trying to have our weekend be OURS since it'll likely be hot and humid outdoors but nonetheless, fun to play out there with the gardens, etc.  We'll see how that works, eh?

Sooooo, here's to ONE MORE DAY, eh?  Have a good one!

And the Hits Just Keep On Comin'

Man, it was another one of those days: after working 10 hours, I came home and did laundry and some sewing.  I'd like to start a new project this weekend but I'm not sure that I'll be finished with the current project.

Too much to do and not enough time!!!

More as time permits-- maybe this weekend I'll get caught up?  Hey!!  It could happen!!

Take care and have a great evening!

None For Me, Thanks!

I am exhausted!!  No, I won't be going to yoga tonight-- just too tired.  I had a THREE AND ONE-HALF HOUR conference call today!!!!  Yeesh!!!!  I was a bloodied mess but, I'm working on cleaning up the document-- they didn't like much of anything.

"Fried" pretty much covers me for todays-- can barely move and I know I'm not worth two cents right now so... obviously, I'm going to sign off.

Thanks for stopping by and your patience!  Have a good evening.

Exciting Times

Unlike my weekend (not much happened which is why I didn't post), things at work are exciting!  Plans are afoot for my trip, yes, but on top of that, I've got John's endorsement for higher involvement and the country manager, Martin, is excited at the prospect as well.  Add to that the fact that I'll be interviewing law firms tomorrow to replace the current licensing firm and, I'll tell ya, there is a LOT happening!!!

The corporate backing on this is amazing-- the revenues need to be grown in South America and having more direct involvement will be a huge step in the right direction.  John, as I said, is 110% behind me as is our GC and, of course, Lee.  So many positives in one day!!

Slow Weekend

Let's see . . . maybe I can remember Saturday??  Okay, I dropped Lucy off at the "Doggie Day Spa", aka, PetCo (where the pets go!) for her trim.  I don't know what it is about the place but she hates going there-- once she's there, she's fine but, she literally has to be dragged into the back room!  We went back to get her around 2pm by which time, I had done a little sewing, lunch and a short nap.  Saturday evening, I had a long overdue, much-needed pedicure-- pure heaven on my feet, let me tell ya!

Sunday morning, we awoke after 11 hours of sleep and ran our usual errands.  After errands, I rang up my sister in Brazil (who is getting better but doesn't have much of an appetite).  Technically, its good for the weight loss but bad for the strengthening needed after a surgery.

When I hung up from her, I went about the business of getting busy: I cleaned the basement, stripping the sheets and towels from my sister's visit (finally) and then, I potted some plants and then, I dusted the main floor and upstairs.  I vacuumed our bedroom but left the vacuuming for the main floor to Brian-- he's just better at it!

Anyway, as you can see, that was it-- a boring weekend, indeed.  Frankly, after traveling on business last week, I think that's what we needed.

I'm going to try to get a little sewing time in so I'm going to sign off for the evening-- take care and have a good one, okay?  Okay!!
