Saturday, November 13, 2004Ditto . . .
Again, not much happening. I worked from home yesterday while it rained ALLLLLL day-- it never let up even a little bit. A constant heavy drizzle for the whole day-- the dogs loved it, of course. They only went outside for the "necessary" trips instead of being able to play a bit like when I'm usually home on Fridays. Oh, well-- there's always next week.
There is a bit of Christmas shopping gonna be happening today: I need Brian to go with me to pick out one of his Christmas presents. If I knew the difference between a radial arm saw and a mitre saw, it could still be a surprise but, since I don't, he'll be going with me to pick it out. He doesn't mind a bit, though-- that way he'll get exactly what he wants.
I guess that's it for today-- if anything striking happens, I'll let you know.
Have a good day!
Wednesday, November 10, 2004Checking In . . .
. . . even though there's nothing to report. Ordinary day at work and an ordinary day at home tonight. Nothing exceptional except for Ebony's arrival. Lots of barking when the doorbell rang, of course, and from there, last minute instructions from Lee. He's cuddled and petted with both Brian and I now so he's right at home, already.
Other than that, nothing much going on . . . have a good evening.
Tuesday, November 9, 2004Yesterday?
Well, ya see, its like this: the company's General Counsel and our new Director came to town! Wow!! Its just a little stressful-- ya never know what they're going to say or do although, nothing was said or done. Besides, its my job to worry about stuff that isn't controllable.
Today
Tonight, actually, after work, I quilted my mother-in-law's gift and have only the binding to finish up on that. My sister-in-law's gift is next and then, of course, my sister's gift needs to be finished yet--no, I have NOT forgotten that wall-hanging! I'm actually excited to get back to it.
Tomorrow
We will be watching Ebony while Jim and Lee go to Minnesota for Lee's brother's memorial service. Sorry occasion, of course, but it will be good for her to be with her family. When they get back on Tuesday, they're going to go on a trip by themselves for the remainder of the week. They'll come back to get Ebony on Sunday and that'll be a nice long 10 day visit for him. We'll probably take reciprocal services from them next summer when we go to California-- looking forward to it already.
Anyway, that's it for now-- gotta get back to the CMAs!! Have a good evening!
