The last few days have been uneventful but terribly busy!! Today was no better, believe me. If it weren't for all the work, I would have nothing to do-- but that's a good thing isn't it?
One thing that irks me is that I'm currently negotiating with a man at a communications company in the central part of the company. Of course, working on a contract with a man is no big deal but-- and this is a HUGE _*BUT*_-- he GIGGLES!!! I cannot stand it!! I want to slap him but he's too far out of my reach!!! ARGH!!
Needless to say, I've been sewing at night to relieve my stress!!
Hopefully, I'll get a chance to post something exciting over the weekend! Have a good one!

I don't have a lot of time to post something so I'm going to just post a couple of pictures below. This "design" is known as Free Standing Lace-- its not really lace but thread!! It takes almost a full spool (1,100 yards) of thread to make the base (in this case, the yellow thread) but you need to use it in both the bobbin ("bottom") thread and the top thread!! Pretty cool, huh?

Monday, July 18, 2005'Mi Bad?
Sorry, I really need to get into the swing of posting on the weekends, don't I? I thought about it once on Saturday . . . but that was it-- just a fleeting thought. Oh, well, there's usually nothing terribly exciting going on anyway or I would post, huh?
On Saturday the only thing I did was the laundry (cuz I forgot) on Friday-- how do you forget the laundry?-- and I did some errand running. I did a little bit of sewing, which I hope to show you the end product of here soon (maybe tomorrow or Wednesday). Yesterday, after we finished our errands, I read a bit and then I downloaded designs and then I unzipped the designs and now I've got to categorize the designs. Tons-o-Fun!
Actually, there's a cute goose in the current set that I'm looking forward to stitching out on kitchen dish towels. There's a lot of nice cross stitch in here, too and, once the conference call with California is done today, I might even get a chance to sew later on! Wow!! How exciting, eh?
I can run designs without being in front of the sewing machine so that's a no brainer. The sewing, obviously, doesn't happen until after work is finished for the day.
By the way, I may have to go to California next month-- I'll find out later today. We might be having a 3-day training meeting which means that I'll fly out on Monday and back on Friday. That isn't too bad, right?
