Sorry, Boring is Difficult . . .

. . . to relay in words.  I figure its best not to dwell on it.

Yesterday, I spent the day in my office working and cutting threads in between work stuff.  I've got 10 towels embroidered and stitched together.  I need to get another 7 done plus design some type of "Personalized Towel Order" form for people who want to have one made with their initials or other specific design.  I'll take pictures when they are ready for display so that you can see some of the varieties that I've made.

Other than that, things continue afoot-- always a rat race, huh?

Have a good one!

Finished!

Last night, I stayed up to finish reading "I Start Counting"-- VERY good book!  Now I know why it stuck with me for all of those years!  It also was the first mystery I'd ever read which was a good start to a good bit of reading!  Now I remember "whodunnit" but I couldn't as I read the book!

Busy Day Ahead

Not necessarily with work but with other stuff.  I've already cleaned my office and now, I've got to update my Palm software.  I don't really use the Palm itself but I do use the software for phone numbers and addresses.  Gotta get to it-- I've been putting it off for a couple of weeks now!

WELL, I guess that's all for today-- have a good 'un!

Crisp Days

Since being back on the east coast, I've discovered that my favorite seasons are Fall and Winter.  Odd since those were the ones I least like when I was living in Michigan.  The days are crisp and the leaves are turning beautiful colors.  Unfortunately, its also raining but, I guess you can't have everything.

Another New Homeowner

My friend, Linda Rose has bought a condominium!!  Needless to say, she is very excited about it and I am as well-- its much closer than her present apartment in Columbia.  Of course, Brian and I will be helping her do some painting and moving but it is fun to get her set up in her own place.

In return, she is going to be babysitting the girls when we go to Michigan next weekend.  Its nice to have her so close and able to stay with the girls.  That'll help them not miss us so much.

Otherwise, everything is much the same as yesterday.  And with that, I'll sign off and get to work!  Have an extra specially wonderful day!

What's Old is What's New

At the ripe old age of 11, I read a condensed version (from Reader's Digest, where else?) of a mystery called "I Start Counting" by Audrey Erskine Lindop.  I became obsessed about locating it after my trip to North Carolina-- well, during it a bit, too!

When I came back, I logged into Barnes & Noble and found it!  I bought it for all of about $2.00 and have been reading it all weekend.  Love it!  Love it!!

Busy Weekend

After working out on Saturday morning, I came home and Brian and I went shopping for a light fixture for the kitchen.  Thankfully, it lights the kitchen better than I expected and is fabulous!

Then, throughout the day, I did the laundry and ran designs out for various things.  The work-out towels are coming along but I've got to get more stabilizer before I can continue.

In the afternoon, I made a trip over to JoAnn's in Bowie and picked up a few needed items.  Then, headed over to the used bookstore that I love in town and picked up some books that were being donated to my sister.  I've got to repack them, hopefully into one box, and then I'll ship them directly to Brasil for theml.

Sunday was fewer errands and much more stitching of embroideries.  I read in between of course but, got a lot done in the process.

Today is going to be spent at my desk doing work, of course, and seeing what I have to unzip for free designs picked up over the weekend.

That's all for now-- have a good one!
