Ano Nuevo
State Reserve requires reservations for the tour a month in advance.
Our director and admin made the reservations and we were off!!
I'm not
going to provide much of a narative here because they are elephant seals
and the really good scientific stuff is at the related sites that are linked
below.

While this looks like
a lot of Elephant Seals, there are 150,000 of them along the coast of Northern
California so this isn't a lot of them!
