Christmas Day, 2000

Each will have a little comment or a story to follow so enjoy!!

One of the first things that Alexandra, aged almost 5, needs
to do upon arrival is show "Bob"
one of her Christmas gifts.

There's a lot to know about some Christmas gifts, ya know?

"Uncle Brian" thought she was standing still when he started
taking the picture!!

This is what she can look like if she stops moving long enough to sleep!

Alex is being very silly!

She's ready for her close-up,
Mr. DeMille!

Alex admiring the sock puppet
that her cousin, Danielle, made
for her!  Pretty crafty for a
10 year old, huh?

A blurrrrr of gift opening!

A book about the Wizard of Oz
that Alex likes a lot!!

Whoa dude!
("Uncle Pete" is giving payback to
Alex's mom, methinks!)

So, whaddyathink?

Oh, Granmartha!!
Alex loves her new dress!!

It is important to learn early about picking up our messes, right, Alex?

Mike (Barb, Brian's sister's husband) and Robert (now 16 months).

Barb, Brian's sister and Robert.

Please note the expression on Robert's face...

Brian is the photographer of these pictures...

Have you noticed how Robert looks at Brian (in every picture) like
"What are you?"?

You see it in every one of these pictures...

Yep, its in every picture!

Ah-hah, says Robert!!  I've got you figured out now!!

Look at that--
Robert has figured him out!!

"Brian is 5"...  Oh, yeah, he's got it all figured out!!

And while he may have figured out who he is, Robert is not willing to share his food with Brian and reminds him of it-- "This is my food!"

Alex, who has known for a long time
that "Uncle" Brian is five, just likes posing for pictures with him!!

Now that he's figured Brian out, Robert reflects on the discovery...
 Merry Christmas Everyone!!
