Well, as mentioned on Sunday, Linda Rose came over and we sewed and talked and talked and sewed. Had a lot of fun, of course and I got caught up on the happenings at the store. I also told Linda Rose that I wouldn't be going back to the store but I'm not sure that she caught on to what I was really saying so I will call the manager, Linda, today to let her know. I don't know if I mentioned that but I decided that between my health and my lack of time to enjoy my sewing and related stuffs (more on that in a minute), I am not going to be going back to the store. I don't need a second job and beside, I generally spent more money than I earned (or at least it seems like it) so it really doesn't make sense to go back to work there.
Related Stuffs
Ever since I've been able to sit for any length of time in front of a computer after surgery, I've been working on learning the different programs that I bought for the embroidery bits of my machines. There are four or five programs that are involved but I've never had enough time to learn any of them because I was always working at the store! Well, that has to stop considering how much I paid for the programs-- if I'm going to have them, I have to use them!
In addition to that software, as I mentioned on Friday, I bought the Pattern Master software and need to learn that. I went to a "beginner" class on that and learned exactly how much there is to learn with that program! Yeesh!! I'm trying desperately not to feel overwhelmed! (On a positive note, this is definitely software that I can use in the business that I've created!) I have a lot of stuff that I want to do, don't I?
Other Than That . . .
As if I need more, I've got a doctor appointment today; not with the surgeon but with my "regular doctor". Its a follow-up to an appointment that I had earlier in the summer (I think) to see how I'm doing on a new medication that he ordered for me. While I'm there, I'll check to make sure that he received his copy of the op report and sonogram and pathology findings from my surgery.
After the doctor appointment, I'm going to come home and finish working through something on the software!! I've got to spend concentrated time on it so that I can learn it-- do I sound like a broken record?
Anyway, I've gotta go jump in the shower so I can make it to my doctor appointment!
