In early April, I took a class called "Free Motion". It requires you to be able to glide your hands (and the fabric!) around the area surrounding the needle so that you make lovely "meandering" lines also known as stippling. Beautiful designs can be made using curves and turns but the process of free motion is lost if your hand falls off the sewing machine!!
When
I came home from my class, I asked Brian (the Creative One) to make a platform
for me and this is what he came up with:

platform is perfect!! Its a good size to support the quilt and still
allows room for my mats and other storage boxes.
