The book, above, is chapterized as to how Julia Morgan, the Architect for San Simeon, and William Randolph Hearst met and formed the partnership that shaped La Cuesta Encatada ("The Enchanted Hill").  The second chapter describes the actual construction of the buildings, while the third chapter speaks to the art acquisitions of the Estate.  The interesting part of the story of San Simeon is covered in the fourth chapter where the guest lists and activities are described.
